This was a studio made piece and has been exhibited several times for example in the show Modern Makers V.
Thematic/contextual information
Stack was based on a visit to Rockanore beach in Hastings where I was looking at the rocks balanced on each other and I made some drawings.
I had made a previous work 'wave' and I liked the feeling of the huge rocks thrown around by the sea.
The work is a small echo of the large rocks.
