I developed this work in collaboration with Kinning park Complex, as a tool for collaborative building and education.
Thematic/contextual information
The DIY Public Sculpture Kit; a modular sculpture that can be built in hundreds of different forms. It is a 3D geometric structure consisting of angles relating to octagons, hexagons, squares, and triangles. This project is designed for collaborative making and learning but stands as a sophisticated piece of abstract sculpture at the same time. It can be installed permanently or temporarily and can be adapted to almost any site when used creatively.
