Thematic/contextual information
An installation exploring Queer/Rural intersections, identities and spaces. 'Buried Structure' signs are signifiers of underground pipelines and unused construction workings, usually found by road sides. In this work the sign alerts to hidden mole tunnels, the habitats within which these creatures spend the majority of their lives. Only emerging semi-regularly causing disruption to farmers and landowners by leaving a trail of inconspicuous hills behind them.
