Current Location
249 Govan Road in Glasgow . To transport the piece a large van is required, a forklift for loading and unloading is preferable although not essential - The location it is being moved to must have large two door access and if not on ground floor, a medium sized elevator. For installation the assistance of at least 2 people and a technician will be required for positioning and fixing the work. The Artist can also assist with this. A base can be built for the artwork to be displayed on if required - otherwise the piece is fixed directly to the floor with temporary bolts.

Background, history, commissioner of the work
Amalgamate is a relatively early work of Gibson's and was created for exhibition in Gibson's first solo show in 2011 at The old Ambulance depot in Edinburgh it was then further exhibited in a solo show in 2012 at Summerhall in Edinburgh.
