Thematic/contextual information

The Ideas behind this sculpture was an attempt to reflect notions of human loss, on a universal level. A child eating an ice cream, dropping it and the sadness this brings. The sculpture also has a strong connotations to ideas of climate change and global warming. The cartoon nature and scale of the work seems to reach a main stream audience and communicates across different cultures and languages. This sculpture makes a perfect Instagram-able moment and is liked by children and adults alike.
