Self initiated studio work following collection of materials.
Thematic/contextual information
Created from off-cuts, found materials and ad hoc studio materials, this piece is a study of form, material, light and reflection and refraction. It was self-initiated and has a relationship to other works recently made/in progress in my studio at the time.
The work consists of monochrome objects and materials that could be seen as plain or black and white/grey. At various points the work reflects the outside world and its colours and the central prism draws the white light to offer a spectrum
