This sculpture is part of a body of work titled 'The Perpetual Guest,' which I created while studying for my MLitt in Fine Art Practice at The Glasgow School of Art.
Thematic/contextual information
The Perpetual Guest (2022) looks at my current posture towards photography, in which I examine if the medium is enough.
I explore photography's precarious nature and ubiquitousness through the poor image, sculpture and performance, probing and surveying the medium and its future.
