Background, history, commissioner of the work
This work was created during the first Covid-19 lockdown. I wanted to create a colourful and positive sculpture to bring positivity to a dark situation.
It is made from wood and metal. It is a moving, interactive sculpture. It was exhibited at the Saatchi Art Gallery in 2021.
Thematic/contextual information
When I realized that there is no perfect place, I decided to create a dream world myself. I try to design a world where fears and worries do not exist. My sculptures suggest a playful and colourful way to banish negativity and regain happiness. These are moving sculptures, when they move they come to life and start eating negativity. They are like a charm. My artworks act to protect against evils of the world, creating a space where worries and fears do not exist; it is an imaginary world of its own.
