A piece of work built for my solo exhibition “Scientific Sublime” at Blank Gallery, Leeds.
Thematic/contextual information
Following on from working with aperiodic tiling in both 2 and 3 dimensions this piece utilises the 3d aperiodic tile to create a work that sits as both sculpture and painting. A play on different surfaces and the illusion of depth versus flatness.
