Thematic/contextual information
Reparation speaks about the idea of repairing and protecting something that is damaged. A chair acts as a platform for an imaginary terrain for the small house perched precariously on top of the pile, while half the chair appears missing severed and wounded. The lead metaphorically and physically protects and seals the wound. The work deals with those difficult feelings associated with memory, loss and grief.
