Thematic/contextual information
This work is installation art, which includes parts of sculptures and video art. I am very interested in my cultural dilemma, because it stems from the rapidly developing Chinese cultural background I experienced and the loss of Chinese cultural autonomy due to globalisation. My work focuses on the cultural dilemma of globalisation, which, of course, involves strong nostalgic elements and cultural control, and even current political issues such as information manipulation.
