Made for an exhibition in Moray 2010 and subsequently shown various exhibitions around Scotland, including the RSA Annual.
Thematic/contextual information
Most of my work deals with the passage of time, setting transient human passions and actions in the context of geological and astronomical time. Here the repeating phases of the moon, perfect and indifferent to humanity, are shown.
NB - though the total weight is 336kg, individual sections each weigh 48kg.
