About the Artwork
'Hello' was made quickly with wet clay to create a raw expression and then reproduced in Jesmonite. It is hinting to figures you often find in medieval cathedrals to bring luck or warnings to the audience though this has a calmer and quieter presence.

'Hello' was made for the exhibition Coup de Theatre at Summerhall in 2019.
