About the Artwork
The work mainly focused on the new Post-digital age mentality as well as humanity's anxiety and disenchantment with the direction we are headed towards both socially and politically.
Background, history, commissioner of the work

Thematic/contextual information
It was one of many pieces included within a room installation, a room which resembled an abandoned, dilapidated building. The concept was based on anthropology, the cyclical nature of time, the ephemeral nature of human existence and decay. In the painting, there are several, absurdly simplistic looking, figures, illustrating how small we are comparatively to the universe. There are three oil painted faces imbedded in the landscape, which represent the cycle of life and death, becoming the earth and decaying in the ground.
