This piece was made as part of my solo exhibition “Scientific Sublime” at Blank Gallery, Leeds City College.
Thematic/contextual information
Using a tile as the base unit for the build, I was looking at how the fall of light enhanced the perception of the concave-convex. The work tricks your eye into questioning which part is receding and which is coming forward. One of a series of works looking at this element of perception.
