Suitable Locations for the Work
Background, history, commissioner of the work
As part of ongoing creative practice, work made on residency at Sculpture Space, Utica, New York State, USA, March - April 1999. Never formally exhibited but a popular work in workshops and lectures.
Abstract organic sculpture for interiors exploring functional and natural associations and forms. Viewed through the mesh steel spoon the copper reflects a moire effect reminiscent of stripes on a bee.
